We help clients do what matters, in the environments they live. At home, in the community, within roles and routines. From dressing, to cooking, to caring for others, our services are built around real tasks in real spaces.
We support cognitive and emotional wellness through practical, evidence-based strategies and compassionate care. Addressing memory changes, brain fog, burn out, and overwhelm - we help bring balance and quality back into everyday life.
Whether adjusting to a diagnosis, managing energy, coping with chronic pain and fatigue, or stepping into a new role and season of life, we walk with you. Our whole-health care honors the physical, emotional, and environmental realities of everyday life, and support independence in doing the things that matter most to you.

Alta Integrated Wellness was created out of a deep respect for the healing professions and a desire to expand what care can look like. After more than a decade working within traditional healthcare systems, I witnessed both the strengths and the limits of those models. While many providers work with heart and skill, the systems they’re in often leave little room for the whole story: the daily routines, the environments, the lived experiences that shape well-being.
Alta is a response to that gap. A return to care that is skilled, relational, and rooted in the real world. Here, we don’t just ask, “What’s the diagnosis?” - at Alta, we ask, “What does life look like for you, and how can we support it?”
Our mission is to provide evidence-based occupational therapy and interdisciplinary services rooted in a whole-health model of care. We support clients in reclaiming their routines, roles, meaningful activities, and energy across all areas of daily life—from memory and mobility to caregiving and emotional resilience. We do this work in the places where life actually happens: homes, neighborhoods, communities.
Whole-health care honors the full complexity of being human. It includes the physical, yes, but also the emotional, cognitive, relational, and even spiritual dimensions of wellness. It’s not about rejecting the medical model - it’s about expanding the lens.
Our vision is to grow into a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice, bringing together occupational therapists, mental health providers, physical therapists, nutrition professionals, and other aligned clinicians. We believe healing is not just clinical—it’s communal. Alta Integrated Wellness is a movement to provide care that is connected, ethical, and truly supportive.
The inspiration for the name Alta is to honor my mother and great-grandmother, who have a legacy of love and care. Alta also means "higher" and "elevated". Alta Integrated Wellness is a legacy of its own - one of care, meaningful support, and lifting eachother up, as both providers and recipients of care.
If you’re looking for care that sees the whole you, or if you're a clinician seeking a more integrated, values-driven way to practice, we’d love to connect! Dr. Kathy Lenahan, OTD, MS, OTR/L Founder, Alta Integrated Wellness
Whole-health care looks beyond a diagnosis or symptoms and supports the whole person—physically, emotionally, cognitively, relationally, and spiritually. It’s about living fully, doing the things that matter most to you in the places you live life.
At Alta, that means helping people build or reclaim routines, roles, meaningful activities, everyday tasks, and rhythms of life that are meaningful to you; at home and in the community.
Alta Integrated Wellness is proud to be part of a larger movement toward whole-person care. The VA’s Whole Health initiative and organizations like Whole Health Institute in Bentonville are also leading the way in shifting the culture of care toward connection, empowerment, and well-being.

Alta Integrated Wellness currently offers occupational therapy, while moving toward offering interdisciplinary services in the near future.
Occupational therapy helps people do the things they need and want to do in daily life. Especially when a medical diagnosis, injury, pain, memory loss, or changes in energy get in the way. At Alta Integrated Wellness, we focus on real-life function: daily routines, roles, and tasks that bring meaning and connection—all in the places where those activities naturally happen. Functional tasks meet functional places.
